Elections Commission has said that 6,093 people have re-registered within five days for the Parliamentary Election scheduled for 22 March 2014.
Re-registration is required by people who wish to vote from a location other than their permanent residences.
Director General of Elections Commission Mohamed Shakeel told Sun Online that the 6,093 re-registration forms have already been processed.
Re-registration was opened on 18 February, and the deadline is 28 February.
Elections Commission has said that 302 candidates will contest the Parliamentary Election.
