Some documents at Haa Alifu Filladhoo Council Office have been set on fire.
Filladhoo Council President Adam Inad said that officials came to know that the documents, which were on a desk in the office, had been set on fire when they went to work this morning.
He said that he incident has been reported to police and all work at the council has been halted.
Police said that a team is on their way to Filladhoo to investigate this matter.
