No more queuing at IGMH
MALE, July 8 (HNS) - You would not have to queue up at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital to consult a doctor in future. From August, the hospital will switch to the system of making appointments to consult doctors, Director-General Mohamed Ahmed said Sunday. This will be a relief to people who now have to wait in line for hours to get a number and seek consultation. After the appointment is made, a date and time will be set whereby the patient can come and directly consult the doctor. It would help to save time for the patient. "This will make it easy for patients to seek consultation," Mohamed said. People who find difficulty in making appointments through telephone can make appointments in person from the public relations desk at the hospital.
