Jumhoory Party President Dr. Ibrahim Didi has said that party leader Gasim Ibrahim is not someone who would demonstrate callousness. In a ceremony held at the party office for new members to sign up for the party, Dr. Didi said that Jumhoory party has a responsible leadership.
“The people are assured that our party leader will never, in the past or in future, show any kind of intolerance towards anyone, what we see tonight is the result of the people accepting the party to conduct its activities in an acceptable manner, demonstrate the best practice of democracy and respecting the party’s leadership as responsible,†Dr. Didi said.
He said that the party decides to prepare its manifesto based upon the people’s needs and that the policies of the party would be compiled as to benefit the people.
“We assure that under no circumstance will the party entertain any anti-Islamic policies to get endorsement from the European community. We repeatedly ensure that this party would not carry out any political activity that would disrupt the long built spirit of unity and friendship among the people†Dr. Didi said.
Party leader Gasim Ibrahim was presented with 430 new membership forms to the party on Saturday night. Jumhoory party submitted 1,000 membership forms to the Elections Commission (EC) last Thursday.
