Three men have been arrested over possession of suspected illegal narcotics in a residence searched in Henveiru district. Haveeru has learned that the suspects arrested are H. Fahala, Ismail Inaz Saeed, 23, H.Ranfaruge, Hassan Shifan, 26, Seenu Feydhoo, Murin’gu, Mohamed Miuzan, 27, from which Hassan Shifan is believed to be a resident of M. Mayflower, from which the suspected illegal narcotics were found.
Police stated that the illegal narcotics obtained were believed to be heroin and that the 621 grams of narcotics were obtained in a special operation carried out on police intelligence information. Police also informed that the street value of the illegal narcotics would be around MVR775,000.
