Opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has said that it was striving to seek the opinion of 120,000 people for the manifesto being drafted for the next presidential elections. Chair of the MDP Policy Committee Mahmood Raazee revealed today that teams have been dispatched to various islands to obtain the opinion of the people to the partyâ™s manifesto.
âœThe efforts would begin in the capital Male in the near future as well. We are looking to travel to the rest of the places by the first week of July,â Raazee who was also the former Civil Aviation Minister of the previous administration detailed.
He further said that the teams would conduct workshops under the endeavor and would assess the achievements of the current manifesto, find out the wishes of the people and the level of fulfillment of the promises made to the people by the party so far.
âœOur hope is to hit the mark of 120,000 people in our ongoing efforts,â Raazee said.
